Kids say the zaniest things on overtly Christian notes left in the lobby of my building. Someone call Pope Bob Sagett II.

Within minutes of the new Star Wars trailer coming out last night, people were complaining about it on the interwebs. Why is this? I grew up on that stuff just as much as the rest of you unsatisfied geeks but if a couple of scenes in the Phantom Menace don’t ring true to me, I just DON’T WATCH THE DVD SEVEN HUNDRED TIMES WHILE MOANING ABOUT THE SAME BITS EACH TIME. I skip ahead to the part were Padmé has that cute little set of Wonder Woman Underoos and makes Qui-Gon some waffles. I just watch the parts I enjoy. That’s what technology is all about.

I guess my message is this: George owns Star Wars. The only way we can make him listen is not to see the movie and not to buy stuff. If you hate it, make like the Civil Rights Movement and boycott it. Me, I intend to buy into a small amount of it. I won’t be getting that farting Yoda back pack or a $99 Paris Hilton in Jabba’s Palace figurine, but I sure will enjoy a little bit of being a kid again.

IN NON-CRITICAL NEWS: I got my “Bring O.D.B. Back To Life” shirt yesterday. (With gold teeth add-on option) I intend to wear it with other stink-proofing shirts underneath for the rest of this working weekend. I seem to do this every time I buy one of Jeff’s shirts.

You can’t keep a good messageboard down. We had to “let go and let Galactus” a little but we’re back in the saddle.
