I am visiting the missus in Portland, OR this week and finding many reasons why this town hates me. Please keep in mind I am from the East Coast.

+I wore shorts the other day. Why don’t I get to do that at home in December?
+There is a store dedicated to weird, DIY zines and books.
+There is non-Starbucks coffee EVERYWHERE.
+Walking to breakfast is a snap.
+No sales tax!
+Excellent Apple/Macintosh stores.
+Good fruits and veggies.

If I wasn’t self-employed, I’d have to give this town some serious consideration as a home. Even with all the rain, it’s pretty nice.
