Didn't someone do that Absolut thing already in a thread about booze? I'm too lazy and lacking in the time department to look it up.

Also, is that KS board still available?

i dont think most of these are under copyright. They are so old, they are most likely public domain. The ad parodies, however, might be. Like the Nokia ad. But are Nokia really going to sue a buch of webcomic fans? not likely.

That being the case, I also don't intend to sell the poster for profit.

Magritte is obviously in the public domain though. And it's just barely even shaped like the original anymore (after I tweaked every node converting it to vector).

If the originals were credited, it might also stave off legal trouble, although I do not profess to know anything about copyright law.

JEFF if you make the poster the only ones of mine that I want on there are Iwo Jima and the Action Comics one.

All the rest of mine were half-ass jokes and crappy stuff.

So Iwo Jima, and Action Comics.

This comic is only funny if you know who the characters are, and maybe not even then. But I did it for Jeff, and this thread is awesome...so here.

See, the guy's name is Black Plague, and he's a superhero who makes people sick.

They are drinking beer, in case that also needs explaining. I do not think that it does.

Magritte is _NOT_ public domain actually. After all, he died in the 1960s, and was all with the makin' the artwork until then and such. But, yeah, there's been troubles and such. Like the Sugarplastic had to pay the Magritte estate money to use The Treachery of Images as a record cover. And www.magritte.com recently lost the rights to have Magritte images up on their site.

...but don't worry; I don't think any of us are gonna narc. I know I'm not.
